InterOp:Connect/VDA-FS/VDA-FS Writer

The VDA-FS Writer component writes VDA-FS version 1.0 & 2.0 files. This component is in the form of shared libraries.
InterOp Connect supports translation of the following file formats and versions:

Options for VDA-FS Writer

BRep
The VDA-FS format geometric representation doesn't support analytical or procedural surfaces, as a result, those are approximated to spline during translation to VDA-FS.
Note: Data export from ACIS to VDA-FS is likely to result in an increase in data volume because the VDA-FS format cannot represent analytical, offset, sweep, or procedural-defined ACIS surfaces.
Limitations
The VDA-FS Writer has the following limitations:

Note: The VDA-FS translator does not support assemblies.
