Important Facts

Note: Due to the nature of I-DEAS, you are presented with a dialog (as shown below) while translating I-DEAS files from earlier versions. Manual intervention is required to close the dialog after which the translation proceeds.

Prerequisites

The I-DEAS component requires a license of I-DEAS MS12 NX Series m0 and Open I-DEAS server. This is due to the fact that this translator uses the Open I-DEAS toolkit to directly access the I-DEAS data from the file. For information regarding platform support, refer to Installation.

Note: InterOp I-DEAS translator does not unload I-DEAS libraries dynamically after the translation process.
